Ben Dilla, Ph.D.

Ben is an executive coach, trainer, and consultant through Bold Leader Development (BLD LLC) and a business professor in the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business at The University of Dallas.

Ben served as an aircraft maintenance officer, behavioral scientist, and personnel officer in the US Air Force, as a senior leadership development consultant for Personnel Decisions International (now Korn Ferry), and in organizational development and training leadership roles for several organizations based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including Fannie Mae, American Airlines, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Parkland Health & Hospital System.

As a coach, Ben often works with accomplished professionals to develop and improve their leadership and influence skills, which led him to promote a strengths-based approach to the skills of emotional intelligence and resilience.

Ben is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE), and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and he has been certified in Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching (SCC) process.

Ben earned a bachelor of science degree in behavioral sciences and leadership from the US Air Force Academy and his MS and Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Purdue University. He has written or co-authored over twenty peer-reviewed research articles and professional conference presentations. Ben is an active member of the Dallas–Fort Worth Organizational Development (OD) Network and the North Texas chapter of the International Coaching Federation.
